Mahoning Township police reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 2:42 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, along SR443 at Chapel Drive.

Police said a 2013 Nissan Altima, driven by April Loeper, of Sheppton, Luzerne County, was stopped in the westbound lane waiting to make a left turn onto Chapel Drive. While stopped her car was rear-ended by a 2007 Nissan Altima, driven by Joseph Kulha, of Tamaqua. One person was transported by ambulance to Gnaden Huetten Hospital for treatment of a minor injury, police added.
