A Summit Hill man was placed on a long probation term in Carbon County court on Thursday on a charge of indecent exposure.

Travis Williams, 23, was placed on 48 months by Judge Steven R. Serfass along with other conditions.

Williams previously pleaded guilty to the charge.

Lansford police charged that Williams exposed himself to a then 12-year-old girl at a residence along W. Ridge St. He was also charged with indecent assault for allegedly having inappropriate contact with the girl. That charge was dropped in a plea bargain with the district attorney's office.

Yesterday the victim and her mother said they agreed with the probation sentence.

Serfass also ordered Williams to render 200 hours of community service, continue his current mental health counseling, ordered to get a sexual offenders evaluation, supply a DNA sample, make restitution of $400 to the victim's compensation board, pay court costs, which average close to $1,000, and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.
