Steven Overpeck, 52, of East Bangor, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop state police at the Stroudsburg barracks made at 8:06 p.m. Nov. 22.

They stopped him in a 2007 Hyundai for various Title 75 offenses at the intersection of Route 115 and Meixsell Valley Road in Ross Township.

He was also found to be in possession of narcotics.

Police said he was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, for processing and was released.
