State police at the Lehighton barracks arrested a Palmerton man for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol after a traffic stop on Nov. 24 at 11 p.m.

Police said Vincent Balent, 39, was driving a Dodge Shadow in an erratic manner on Fireline Road, near Gun Club Road, in Towamensing Township.Upon making the stop, police learned he was under the influence of alcohol.
