Helen (Reimiller) Rhoades, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community, Weatherly, is celebrating her 93rd birthday. Born in Hazleton Nov. 16, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Clora and Charles Reimiller.

On Nov. 5, 1938, Helen wed Charles Rhoades, who died in 2004. They had three children: Clo-Ellen Rhoades Triano of Richmond, Va.; Charles Oscar Rhoades (deceased); and George Byron Rhoades, Weatherly.Helen is the proud grandmother of seven: twins Scott and Shawn Rhoades, David Triano, Steven Triano, Michele Rhoades, Travis Rhoades and Caitlin Rhoades. She is also the great-grandmother of 12.Over the years, Helen has enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, and shopping.She especially loves the beach, ocean, and pool activities with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was always game to get in the pool with them well into her late 80s.She has also enjoyed many outings at her son's home in Weatherly.Helen enjoys living at Heritage Hill and all the activities the community has to offer.
