"A life without a dog is a mistake. Those are the words of German writer and playwright Carl Zuckmayer.

There are times I would argue that statement, like whenever my "Raygan" doesn't want to go outside because it's too cold or its raining. Or, at midnight when she decides she does want to go out and I'm in the midst of a deep sleep. There are times she'll pull on the covers and get me up just so I'll go and get her a dog treat in the middle of the night.

But these are minor irritations. On most occasions I wouldn't be caught dead without a dog. We've always been a dog family.

Below are some thoughts concerning our canine friends that are worth passing on.
