Lansford woman faces charges

Lisa Green, 43, of 347 W. Kline Ave., Lansford, faces charges from an incident which took place on Sept. 23 at 9:23 p.m. at that residence. Charges of resisting arrest, simple assault, and persistent disorderly conduct were filed by Officer Jeffrey Ohl.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, here's what happened:Ohl received a dispatch for two females fighting inside the house. Upon arrival, he saw several neighbors standing outside. As he approached the house, he saw a woman leave and heard another woman inside screaming and yelling. He spoke with the woman who was leaving, identified as Amanda Gregory. She told him she had gotten into an altercation with her mother, Lisa Green. As Ohl tried to talk with Gregory, Green kept yelling and screaming and tried leaving the house several times, only to be restrained by her boyfriend. She was told several times to stop yelling and calm down, but refused. Gregory was highly upset, and kept pulling loose chunks of hair from her scalp, which she said was from Green grabbing and pulling her hair as they fought.Gregory said she didn't want to have Green arrested, that she (Gregory) just wanted to go home.Ohl then went into the house, and attempted to speak with Green, who was highly intoxicated, and kept screaming obscenities at Ohl, her daughter, and the neighbors who still congregated outside. Ohl told Green she'd be arrested if she didn't stop. Green refused, and was arrested.Green resisted being handcuffed, and elbowed the officer in the jaw. She was taken to the ground, still resisting. Green was cuffed and taken outside to the police cruiser, still screaming obscenities at the gathered neighbors. She was taken back to the police station and charged.
