A Nesquehoning man is facing a charge of theft, for stealing from his employer.

Jim Thorpe police said on Tuesday, May 8, they received a complaint from Robert Kuhn Jr., who is owner/operator of Kuhn Transportation, located at 3 Adventure Lane, regarding the theft of about $400 in rolled coins from his business office.

Kuhn related that the coins were in a milk crate underneath his desk. On Wednesday, May 9, Kuhn reported to police that one of his employees, Brian J. Steigerwalt, 34, of 236 Railroad St., Nesquehoning, admitted taking the coins.

Police interviewed Steigerwalt and he admitted to the theft. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property.
