The Domestic Violence Service Center recently held its fifth annual golf tournament at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Course in Mountain Top. Prizes were awarded to the top three flight winners in addition to the player who was closest to the pin and the player who hit the longest drive. Other tournament winners included, first flight champs (Vince Tassitano, Joe Deserna, Tony Genoble, Ron Drobenak); second flight champs (Fred Lewis, Jim Burke, John Yannuzzi, Aaron Koval); closest to the pin (Lorenzo Medico); longest drive (Lorenzo Medico). All proceeds from the event went to benefit Domestic Violence Service Center, which serves Luzerne and Carbon Counties.
