Brownie and Daisy Girl Scouts in the Lehighton area treated their mothers on Sunday to an afternoon tea at All Saint's Episcopal Church in Lehighton.
The annual "Mommy and Me" tea gave the girls an opportunity to make a spring hat, using newsprint, flowers and lace; a necklace; and a picture frame, and serve their mothers tea.The event was organized by Barbara Ahner and Janet Rimbey, leaders of Brownie Troop 3862, to give Daisy Girl Scouts an opportunity to learn about Girl Scouting.
