Mr. and Mrs. John Blum of Haddon Heights, N.J. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hager of Moosic, Pa. have announced the engagement of their children, Ellen Elizabeth Blum to Matthew David Hager.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Haddon Heights High School and Moravian College in Bethlehem.She earned her degree in business management and is the director of Consumer Media at WebMD in New York City.The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Palmerton High School and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.He is the senior manager of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing for Sunoco, Inc.The couple is planning a November wedding in Philadelphia where they both reside.
