A Northampton County man is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) after he was stopped for a vehicle code violation while operating a motorcycle.

State police at Lehighton said Peter A. Hissim, 47, of Bath, driving a 2012 Harley Davidson Road King bike, was stopped along 57 Road in the area of Locust Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, about 9:18 p.m. on Saturday, May 12.He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.
