School is starting soon, but the Palmerton Area Library is still humming with activity.

• The Teen Group is hosting "Mini Golf in the Library" from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 9. The cost is $2 per player.• The Giant Basket Auction and Book Sale is currently running now through August, but the end is in sight. The last day is Sept. 9.There are more than 2,000 items for sale. For $2, patrons can fill a bag with as many books from the sale they can manage. And to top it off, they could win a prize. The prize winner's name will be drawn on Sept. 11.Bags are provided by the library.• Is technology baffling? New computer classes will begin Sept. 19.
