The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown. The featured speaker will be Dan Kunkle, Director of the Lehigh Gap Nature Center, who will talk about "The Positive Impact of the Lehigh Gap Nature Center on Palmerton."

"While you are driving through Lehigh Gap, if you have ever wondered about what exactly they do over there at the Nature Center, this is your opportunity to find out why so many schools in the area and colleges from the Middle Atlantic region are visiting Lehigh Gap and why researchers from throughout the nation are involved in this nationally known restoration project," said Club President, Sarina Berlow, "

Before the main speaker, Ron Rabenold, Democratic candidate for Representative in Pennsylvania's 122nd District in the April 24th Democratic Primary Election will address the group. The PADC is also offering an additional opportunity to meet many of the candidates on Sunday, March 25, at their Spaghetti Dinner.

The Club's next monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 7 p.m., will be a Rally for Tim Seip, Democratic candidate for the PA Senate in the 29th District.

The area covered by the Club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are monthly, the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown. Annual dues of $1/yr. was due Jan. 1.
