The Tamaqua Area High School Leadership Council collected more than 145 coats during an effort to provide students in need with appropriate outer wear. Participating students included the following members of the sophomore and junior classes: (first row) Nikki Klatka, Brianna Bittner, Nicki Mateyak, Alexandra Miller, Carly Fenstermacher; (second row) Molly Betz, Hannah Miller, Sam Postupack, Gabby Freed and Trevor Arnold. Members of the senior class, not picture, include Jordan Reabold, Jacqueline McMullen, Kelsey Patrick, Danielle Fox, Kayla Hope, Emily Zancofsky and Erin Fegley. Coats that were not distributed to students were donated to the Tamaqua Salvation Army.
