Schuylkill bar association admits five

Five new members of the Schuylkill County Bar Association were admitted to practice law before the Court of Common Pleas of Schuylkill County at ceremonies held Friday afternoon at the courthouse in Pottsville.

The new attorneys are as follows:Attorney Ryan Bates, 25, of 4302 Brockside Court Orwigsburg, who received his law degree at Duquesne University Law School. He was presented to court by his uncle, attorney B. J. Evans.Attorney Kelly Halupa, 26, of 250 Butler Road, Frackville, was presented by Associate County Judge John E. Domalakes. She is a graduate of Dickinson School of Law.Attorney Shelby Grabowski Hostetter, 26, of 23 Marsha Drive, Cressona, was presented by attorney Erick Prock. She is a graduate of Widener School of Law.Attorney Kay Hennessy Seven, 146 Aspen Drive, Auburn, was presented by attorney Mary Timpany. She is a graduate of Villanova School of Law.Attorney Evangelo Theodosopoulos, Pottsville, was presented by attorney Roberta J. Domlesky. He is a graduate of Dickinson Law School and is currently the law clerk for President Judge William E. Baldwin.Attorney Sudhir R. Patel, president of the county bar association, announced to the four county judges seated en banc - President Judge William E. Baldwin and Associate Judges Cyrus Palmer Dolbin, John E. Domalakes and Charles M. Miller - that five new members were present to be admitted. Judge Baldwin administered the oath to the new lawyers and spoke briefly to the new lawyers about their duties to the people they will be representing."They place their trust in you," he said.
