PathStone Child and Development services is taking applications for Early Head Start and Head Start for families living in the Panther Valley, Lehighton, Palmerton and Jim Thorpe school districts. Children must be age eligible and meet income guidelines. Families who receive unemployment benefits, work at low paying jobs or receive SSI are a few of those who may be income eligible.
Early Head State is a year round program and children from birth to three years old, along with pregnant women are eligible for the program.
Head Start serves children from ages 3 to 5. The next program will start in late August and run until May.
There are only a few openings available. Anyone interested should call immediately and not wait until the end of the summer.
It is the policy of PathStone Child and Family Development not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap in its admission procedures, educational programs, activities or employment.
