Lynne M. Klingbord, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Klingbord, First Street, Slatington, became the first female enlistee in the Lehighton Army National Guard. She was enlisted in the 165th Military Police Battalion Headquarters Detachment. Klingbord, who is a graduate of Slatington High School with the Class of 1975, was recruited by SP4 Thomas G. J. Rezeli, a member of the Lehighton National Guard "Stay Behind Recruiting Team."
