PV Breaker Boys defeat Wildcats

The Panther Valley Breaker Boys defeated the Williamsport Wildcats, 42-32, in a Great Eastern Football Association game.

The Breaker Boys have now won four of their last five games to improve their record to 5-4 on the season.Quarterback Craig Zurn had a huge game for the Breaker Boys passing for 95 yards and three touchdowns and running for 75 yards and two more scores. Dave Boyle had a career day hauling in four receptions for 85 yards and two TDs and contributing an intercetion on defense. Shane Kaufman also had a TD reception for the winners while Tom Schreppel ran for a score.Defensively, nose tackle Josh Eisenhower made the play of the game as he caught a tipped pass two yards deep in the endzone, broke several tackles and rumbled down the field for a 52 yard interception return for a touchdown. Bryant Butala added 10 tackles and a fumble recovery while Tony Stoeckel chipped in seven tackles, two of them for a loss."We are one step closer to accomplishing our first goal, winning our division," said Breaker Boys coach Scott Reese. "We aren't going to celebrate this win too much though, our eyes are set on that Keystone Bowl championship. We have the talent, we have the heart, we just need to stay focused and never stop believing."
