Jim Thorpe High School students received awards from American Legion Post 304 in Jim Thorpe. Nathan Ryals, 12th grade, received first place in the district and in the county for the essay contest. Nicholas Goldberg, 11th grade, received second place in Post 304 for the essay contest.
