Amanda Messsinger, 22, and Todd Messinger, 25, both of 172 Creekside Manor, Lehighton, are facing one count each of simple assault and harassment following an incident that took place at 714 Mahoning St., on May 6.

Lehighton police said a verbal and physical altercation occurred at the above stated location and time in which it is alleged that Amanda Messinger punched a 53-year-old female in the face and Todd Messinger punched a 24-year-old male in the face.In attempting to flee the residence the male victim fell down steps sustaining a severe head injury that required treatment at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, police added.
