West Penn church hosts old fashioned community picnic

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Volunteers and parishioners with the Zion's Stone Church in West Penn organized their second annual community picnic last weekend. The community event included music, baskets, food, games, dunk tank, moon bounce, duck pond, duck river races, face painting, basket extravaganza, prize wheel, carnival games, horse drawn carriage rides and more. Entertainment was provided by Bill Clause and the Blue Mountain Buckaneers, The Cressona Band, Cole Gursky and Mike Miller. In photo above, getting dunked is volunteer Maxine Beers, 10. Not pictured was her brother Jake, 16, who helped operate the dunk tank.
