Pocono Mountain Regional police have charged a Monroe County resident with violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

Police said about 5:08 p.m. on July 19 officers were called to 3520 Devon Road, in the Pocono Farms East development for a male at a residence in violation of a PFA order. On scene officers made contact with Jean Philogene, 37, and Farah Damas, 42, both of Tobyhanna.It was determined that Philogene was at the home in violation fo the PFA order. He was taken into custody and lodged in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
