Volunteers with the Strawberry Playhouse in Tuscarora are featuring their second weekend of their play performance of 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.'
The play consists of local talents performing on stage in multiple settings, to include a little village, graveyard, an island, church and a cave.
The cast consists of Ron Calarco, West Penn, as "Mark Twain"; Jack Ligenza, 11, Slatington, as "Tom Sawyer"; Jessica Wensus, 13, St Clair, as "Huck Finn"; Collin Starr, 13, Middleport, as "Joe Harper'; Maizy Troxell, 12, Tamaqua, as "Alfred Temple"; Rachel Rubright, 13, Kaska, as "Sid Sawyer" and "Injun Joe"; Anna Heitmann and Olivia Stettler, 10, Tamaqua, as "Becky Thatcher"; Riley Powell, 8, Pottsville, and Amelia Cassell, 10, Tamaqua, as "Susan Harper"; Haylee Burne, 10, Andreas, as "Amy Lawrence"; Tina Burns, Andreas, as "Aunt Polly"; Sue Mau, Summit Hill, as "Mrs. Harper"; Dallas Mease, 17, Tamaqua, as "Doctor Robinson" and "Preacher Dobbins" and Michael Wawyzynek, Barnesville, as "Muff Potter."
