Slatington Public Library, 650 Main St., Slatington, will hold its 16th annual Chinese auction on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Diamond Fire Company, Main Street, Walnutport. Donations of handcrafted items, gift certificates, gift baskets or like new items are needed. This event is the library's major fundraiser for the year and helps to pay for the day-to-day expenses on the library.

Items may be dropped off at the library during operational hours. Items will be displayed with donor's name in the library window at the end of the summer until the week of the event.The Slatington Public Library is a nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 corporation.
