Heat related illnesses and outdoor injuries can ruin a summer. Ways to avoid emergency room visits will be the topic of conversation Wednesday, July 18, when Dr. Lawton Delisser, an emergency room physician with St. Luke's University Hospital, visits the South Ward Community Center in Tamaqua. Dr. Delisser will share tips and hints on dealing with the health related problems found during the Summer months.

Dr. Delisser will be at the community center at 10 a.m. this Wednesday.The session is open to the public and is sponsored by the South Ward Neighborhood Committee and the South Ward Playground Association.
