Setting record straight

Dear Editor:

I would like to set the story straight about a letter Mr. Schickram wrote to you and the people of Rush Township. It was the two supervisors who wanted to take me to court no matter how much it cost the taxpayers.Yes, I'm an auditor and I do try to do the job I was elected for, but when some supervisors threaten to throw you out of "their building" because you are doing your job, what are you supposed to do.Mr. Schickram was the only one with a personal agenda not me. Because he wanted to run coal trucks on a grassy alley, his two supervisor friends had put stone in part of the alley for him. Mr. Schrickram said it was a street, and it is not, it's an alley. The township secretary does not prepare documents for the court, and how does Mr. Schrickram know what is cost the township to take me to court if it wasn't for his two supervisor friends telling him.People should get their facts straight before writing letters for their friends and thanking them.William D. Boyer,Rush Township
