Walk down Memory Lane

Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes, Inc. held a Summer Memory Fest to raise $1,000 for its Alzheimer's Walk-Team Bush. Team Bush plans to walk in the Alzheimer's Walk to be held in September to bring awareness of the need for finding a cure. It affects 5.4 million Americans and is the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. It is the only cause of death among the Top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. For that cause, Mrs. Bush's held a Chinese auction and bake sale. There was live music from "Memory Lane" band, playing 50s and 60s music. People were asked to come dressed in 50s and 60s attire, like Mrs. JoAnn Bush, left and Colette Frable, a personal care aide, right, wore. Guests and residents like, front, Patricia Mugavro, Judy Campbell and Virginia Jaskowika, back row Jim Berger, Ruth Werkheiser and Sonny Jackson, standing in back, Carrie Shafer, activity director, all enjoyed.
