Michaela Susko was crowned Miss Dance 2012 during Dance Explosion and Tumble Academy's Dance Recital on June 16. She is the daughter of David and Jean Susko of Nesquehoning, and the granddaughter of Virginia Hower of Northampton. An honor roll student, Michaela will be in eighth grade at Good Shepherd Catholic School in the fall. She has been dancing under the direction of Kira Adams for 11 years, who has helped her win numerous awards. A member of the High Voltage Competition Team, Michaela also has studied classical and lyrical ballet, tap, gymnastics, hip hop, baton twirling, modern dance, pantomime and modeling at Dance Explosion and Tumble Academy in Nesquehoning.
