Two juveniles were charged after they stole money from the Summit Hill Borough Hall.

According to Summit Hill police, on Jan. 7, there were several youths cleaning the borough hall. During that time, a 17-year-old male from Lehighton took some money that was sitting on a desk. He was charged with theft by unlawful taking through juvenile authorities in Carbon County.There was also a 15-year-old male from Jim Thorpe who had allegedly received some of that money. He was charged with receiving stolen property.
