State police at Lehighton reported on a driving under the influence (DUI) arrest in Carbon County.

Troopers said Patricia A. Desousa, 37, of Palmerton, was stopped about 12:08 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, along Little Gap Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, for traffic violations.She was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
