Katherine Mussoline weds Brian Thompson

Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Tamaqua, was the setting for the Sept. 10, 2011 wedding of Katherine E. Mussoline and Brian M. Thompson. The Rev. William Linkchorst officiated the double ring ceremony. Angela Nardini provided vocal selections, while Darryl Seiwell played the trumpet and Susan Baddick presided at the organ.

The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth Mussoline of Tamaqua and Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Mussoline of Quakake.The groom is the son of Leonard and Debbie Thompson of New Ringgold.Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Marissa Mussoline, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included: Nina Thompson and Leslie Thompson, both of Tamaqua, sisters-in-law of the bridegroom; Amanda Peters of Tamaqua; Jade Roetz of Hometown; Laura Hendricks of Quakertown; Jenna Desimone of Bronx, N.Y.; Adair Lentini of Manhattan, N.Y.; and Julie Monahan of West Hartford, Conn. Ashlyn Houser of New Ringgold and Jana Lindenmuth of Allentown served as flower girls.Best man honors were performed by Stephen Roetz of Hometown. Ushers were Christopher Thompson and Matthew Thompson, both of Tamaqua and brothers of the bridegroom; Justin Lindenmuth of Quakake, brother of the bride; Tommy Martin of Philadelphia; Adam Sinton of Tamaqua; and Duane Frederick of Hometown.Following the ceremony, the couple greeted family and friends at a reception at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre, before honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico.Pre-nuptial parties included a bridal shower, hosted by the mothers of the bride and bridegroom and the bridesmaids. The rehearsal dinner was held at Basile's Restaurant, Hometown, hosted by the bridegroom's parents.The new Mrs. Thompson is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Villanova University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biology.She is currently a fourth year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.She is the granddaughter of Marylou Mussoline of Hazleton and the late Rocco Mussoline and the late Helen and Paul Kadlecik of Lansford.Mr. Thompson is a 2002 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2004 graduate of Lackawanna College, earning a degree in criminal justice.He is currently employed as a police officer for Lower Salford Township, Harleysville.He is the grandson of Franklin and Shirley Thompson of Eagle Bridge, N.Y., and Betty Wilson of Hoosic Falls, N.Y., and the late George Wilson.
