Two persons were cited following an incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said about 9:55 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, they were dispatched to 6 Chapel Lane, Gilberton, for a report of an assault incident. On scene troopers were told by John Blashock, 43, of Gilberton, that he was hit in the face with a glass bottle by Connie Delowery, 47, also of Gilberton. Troopers noted that Blashock had injuries consistent with his allegations.Delowery was placed under arrest for simple assault and harassment and arraigned before duty District Judge Carol Pankake, of Tremont. Delowery was unable to post 10 percent of $20,000 bail and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.Troopers added that Blashock was cited for simple assault and harassment for his action in instigating the incident.
