The Palmerton wrestling team turned in a strong showing in the Panther Valley Duals on Saturday.

WRESTLINGAnthracite DualsSaucon Valley captured the championship of the Anthracite Duals.Three local teams Palmerton, Lehighton and host Panther Valley took part in the tournament.Palmerton compiled the best record of the trio going 4-1 overall, while Lehighton ended up 3-2 and Panther Valley rattled off a 2-3 mark.The Bombers' lone loss was a 35-30 setback to Saucon Valley. They finished second in their pool and then defeated Penns Valley in the placement round to finish in third place in the tournament.Josh Evans (113), Sam Oberlander (120), Cody Grohotolski (152) and Kane Kralik (285) all finished undefeated at 5-0 for the Bombers.
