A Tamaqua man has been cited after he was found to be in an intoxicated state in the 100 block of West Broad Street in the borough.
Officers were dispatched to 108 W. Broad St., at 2:23 a.m. on Feb. 25 on a report of a male banging on doors. At the scene, they found Brian James Dennis, 34, of 14 W. Broad St. Dennis was unable to provide officers with his name and address due to his inebriated state.
Officer Thomas Duarte transported Dennis, who became uncooperative, to the police station where he was later released into the custody of his mother.
Dennis was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
