State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

Three occurred on Sunday, Feb. 19.

At 12:16 a.m. Daniel Allen Mitchell, 26, of Kunkletown, was stopped along SR115, a mile north of SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.

At 2:35 a.m. John M. Teklinsky Jr., 30, of Bath, was stopped along Old Route 115, in the area of Kunkletown Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, after being observed driving at a high rate of speed.

He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, where he submitted to a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

At 10:05 p.m. James Michael Mulholland, 51, of Nesquehoning, was stopped for a traffic violation along Main Road, at SR209, in Lehighton. He was found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI, troopers said.

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, about 2:50 a.m. troopers stopped Michael E. Barnes, of Kunkletown, along Whitey Drive, just off SR209, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI, troopers said.
