The East Carbon County Democratic Club will meet at the Penn Kidder Campus School at 7 o'clock this evening. The meeting will suspend the regular order of business to allow time for the following guest candidates to speak and interact with club members: Ronald Rabenold and Jerry Strubinger, candidates for the Pa. 122nd legislative district; and Bill Vinsko, candidate for the U.S. 11th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to scheduling all guest candidates and for the interest of the general public, the Primary candidates were all informed of the club's policy not to endorse Primary candidates. The club chairman believes that in the interest of fairness, the voting Democratic public should select the candidate to compete in the general election.
Due to the many issues Americans are facing today, all members along with their guests are encouraged to attend this opportunity to hear the candidates, who if successful will represent them in the Pennsylvania house and the United States Congress.
