Ann and Michael Yeastedt of Jim Thorpe have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nicole, to Christopher D'Emilio of Bethlehem, son of Patricia and Michael D'Emilio of Northampton.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in English and communications in 2006 from Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in curriculum and instructions in 2010 from Moravian College, Bethlehem.She is employed as an English teacher at Liberty High School, Bethlehem.Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Northampton High school. He received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics in 2005 from Elizabethtown College and a master's degree in technology instructions in 2009 from Wilkes University.He is employed as a mathematics teacher at Liberty High School, Bethlehem, where he also coaches basketball and track.The couple will be married on Aug. 11, 2012.
