State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a theft from vehicle incident in Carbon County.

Troopers said the unlocked 2004 Nissan Frontier of Kerry M. Knapp, 133 Mansi Drive, Indian Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, was entered sometime between 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, and 6:15 a.m. on Monday while parked at the residence.Removed was a purse and two pocket knives. Total estimated loss was $50.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
