ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Members and volunteers with the Tamaqua American Legion held their annual Christmas party recently for area children. In addition to a visit with Santa on the Tamaqua Rescue Squad truck, children received gifts and candy. Guests were treated to food and refreshments. Post Commander Joel Perry stated his appreciation to all volunteers that donated gifts and helped with the community event. Santa arrived via the Tamaqua Rescue Squad truck.
