Taryn Rehrig, daughter of Timothy and Tammy Rehrig of Lehighton, and Gregory Stewart, son of Robert and Catherine Stewart of Saylorsburg, were married on Oct. 6, 2012 at The Orioles in Lehighton.

District Judge William J. Kissner officiated at the ceremony.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Melissa Kistler of Andreas as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Blasko, Lansford; Sara Techentine, Barnesville; Elizabeth Bogart, Bartonsville; and Vanessa Ahner, Lehighton.Matthew Stewart of Saylorsburg served as best man. Ushers included Jarrod Brown and Bart Brown, both of Athens, Ala.; Michael Bogart, Bartonsville; and Tyler Rehrig, Lehighton.A reception at The Orioles followed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Tenn.The new Mrs. Stewart has a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed as a substitute teacher in the Lehighton and Jim Thorpe Area school districts. She is also an after school teacher for the SHINE program.Mr. Stewart is employed as a forklift driver at Eastern Engineered Wood Products in Bethlehem, Pa.
