Cadi Wernett of Jim Thorpe, and Justin Scott of Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, N.C. were united in marriage on Nov. 10, 2012 at The Chapel at Hickory Run State Park in White Haven.

Jim Thorpe Mayor Michael Sofranko officiated the double ring ceremony.The daughter of Gail and Michael Wernett Sr. of Jim Thorpe, the bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her cousin, Marcy Walck of Jim Thorpe, to be her maid of honor.Josh Sierak of Aberdeen, Md. was the best man.A reception at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, followed the ceremony.The couple honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C.Prenuptial parties for the couple included a bridal shower, hosted by the mother of the bride.The new Mrs. Scott is a 2007 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.She is employed at the Hickory Run Service Plaza.Her husband is the son of Stephanie Scott of Aberdeen, Md. He is a 2008 graduate of Aberdeen High School.He is currently serving on active duty with the United States Marine Corps.
