State police at the Lehighton cited Gary Chrvala, 53, of Saylorsburg, for disorderly conduct after police were summoned to an incident involving the man's barking dog.

Police said the incident happened at Rolling Hill Road when neighbors of Chrvala reported he allowed his dog to bark continuously in the early morning hours on Dec. 11.Police said the dog could be heard barking when they arrived on scene at 4:30 a.m.
