The Carbon County Animal Shelter, located at 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, on top of the Broad Mountain along Route 93, will be visited by Santa Claus this weekend.

During the two-day event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, all pet owners are welcome to bring their pets to the shelter to take pictures with Santa. The shelter asks that pet owners bring their own camera to take the photos.

The event is free to everyone and donations to help cover shelter costs will be accepted.

For more information on the shelter or how to adopt a dog, call the shelter at (570) 325-4828.
