Volunteers with the Tamaqua Salvation Army spent time standing outside both the Hometown and Lehighton Wal-Mart collecting winter coats and toys via Wal-Mart's Fill-A-Truck toy and winter coat collection program. Major Sharon Whispell and Major Margaret Johnson stated their appreciation to Wal-Mart for holding the event.
