A McAdoo couple were cited by police following a domestic incident on Nov. 19.
Officers William Homanko and Steven Homanko were conducting a Pennsylvania Buckle Up Campaign when they were dispatched to 244 W. Blaine St. for a reported fight in progress.
Once on scene the officers spoke with both occupants, Jason Canaan, 28, and Katrina Corra, 25, who both claimed to have been struck by the other.
Canaan had a lump on his head, which he said was caused by Corra striking him with a lava lamp.
Corra said Canaan had slapped her across the face, but hit himself with the lava lamp, "going crazy," after hitting his head on a dresser.
A family member took Canaan to the hospital. Neighbors told the officers there had been a lot of yelling, screaming and banging coming from the Canaan/Corra home and were willing to provide written statements.
Officers charged both parties with disorderly conduct.
