Thomas and Jayne Skavery of Quakake have announced the engagement of their daughter, Noelle Kristen Skavery, to Peter Emmanuel Conrad. He is the son of Thomas and Kristen of Duncannon, Pa.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary/special education from Slippery Rock University in 1999, and a master of educational administration in 2003 from Temple University.She is a third-grade teacher at Lenkerville Elementary and is the JV girls basketball coach at Susquenita High School.The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Susquenita High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in English from Dickinson University in 1998.He teaches English at Palmyra High School and is Palmyra's varsity boys basketball coach.An October 2012 wedding is planned.
