Rev. Robert vonFrisch will lead his final service on August 26 before he retires from parish ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton.

Other upcoming events at Trinity include the return of contemporary worship with the Trinity Praise Band at the 9 a.m. service on Sept. 9 and a golf outing at Mahoning Valley Country Club at 1 p.m. on Sept. 30. The golf outing will benefit Family Promise of Carbon County, which assists homeless and low income families throughout the county.
