Two area men were charged with multiple offenses after police learned they were operating an illegal meth lab.

According to Summit Hill police, on April 11, at 5:30 p.m., officers received a call from the Coaldale police to report that they discovered a meth lab in their borough.Coaldale officers reported that the individuals operating the lab, Vincent Keller, 27, of 222 White St., Lehighton; and Ricky Burns, 19, of 40 E. Ridge St., Lansford, took materials from the meth lab in Coaldale and dumped it in Summit Hill.Keller and Burns were each charged with operation of a meth lab, dumping meth lab waste, possession of drug paraphernalia, and scattering rubbish.
