Fairway Motors in Hazleton donated sports equipment to the Tamaqua Area Little League Baseball Association (TALLBA) during their kickoff game. Mayor Chris Morrison threw out the first ball. Bill Angst, who been president of the association since 1996, thanked Fairway Motors for the kind donation. Employees and management with Fairway Chevrolet Motors stated that their company routinely gives to local groups and believes in being involved in the community.
